I didn’t really think that their would be any categories left in the kayak fishing market by the time we made one… however, thanks to Drew Gregory for opening our eyes to the fact that fishing kayaks aren’t made for the rivers and we really need one, we jumped on that opportunity and came out with a winner.
I’ll save the details for later, since it is after midnight already! Check out today’s Baltimore Sun article on it… http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/outdoors/bs-sp-thomson-column-0808-20100807,0,7008881.story

Portugal prices coosa?
Try calling our Portugal dealers to see if they are carrying the Coosa and ask them what the price would be. Here is a link to their contact information. https://legacy.jacksonkayak.com/dealers/?jk-i-dealer=Portugal
I was wondering where to get a drag chain for the retractable dog leash and what is the perfect size?
Edward, the perfect length of drag chain varies. You have to take into consideration the speed of the current, the weight in the boat, the amount of scope in your anchor rope, and the type of riverbed. My solution is to have several short lengths rather than one longer piece. I carry a 1′ section, and a couple of 6″ sections. These can be fastened together with carabiners or the little screwlock chain links. I also attach my chain to the rope by a ziptie loop. This is a weak link that I can break should I run into trouble. Always keep a knife handy! Hope this helps.
